ICANSOM

Our Background

The Integrated Community Action Network (ICAN) is a non-profit organization that was established on 10/01/2008 to address the various socio-economic and humanitarian challenges faced by minority and marginalized communities within Somalia. ICAN operates in both development and humanitarian contexts, with a focus on promoting sustainable solutions and providing essential aid to these underserved populations. ICAN’s primary goal is to empower and uplift minority ethnic groups, women, religious minorities, the economically disadvantaged, and other marginalized communities in Somalia. The organization collaborates with local community members, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and international partners to implement integrated, community-driven projects that create positive and lasting impacts.
